The XP Summit is an annual gathering organized FOR XP’s and BY XP’s. It was created to facilitate connections, content, and conversations among second chair leaders who oversee church logistical issues. It’s a safe space where ministry peers can discuss the best practices on subjects like staffing, programming, finances, and multi-site strategy. This year’s theme is Behind the Music, as we consider what it means to lead from the executive pastor’s seat.

NIGHT OF NASHVILLE (SPONSORED BY VANTAGE PRO AV)
Start out the conference with dinner and music in downtown historic Franklin. We’ll have local singer/songwriters providing the tunes while enjoying some classic Nashville Hot Chicken.

MAIN SESSIONS
We’ll hear from Jenni Catron and Steve Carter who push us to consider both our organizational culture and our spiritual preparedness for the work before us.

BREAKOUTS
These sessions are more focused, highlighting ministry or operational specifics, providing attendees the opportunity to engage and ask questions. The expanding speaker list is available here.

HUDDLES
Each XP is assigned to a small group of 10-12 fellow practitioners. A group leader facilitates discussions that should inform and inspire future work. Nearly every attendee testifies that huddle times are the most valuable parts of the summit.
