PreConference 2026

This year we are offering an opportunity to gather before XP Summit for focused sessions for different XP communities. The three-hour tracks will not only feature specific content focused on the groups, but will provide the basis for a cadre of peers with whom to journey through the challenges of XP ministry.

This year we’re offering two tracks: one for new XP’s, and one for women XP’s. The cost for each PreConference is $39. The PreConference option can be selected as an “add-on” when registering for XP Summit.

More and more women are taking second chair positions in their congregations. While the vast majority of resources and strategies are adaptable regardless of leader, there are some opportunities and challenges exclusive to women XPs. In this PreConference track, Kadi Cole will facilitate a conversation about these issues, providing wisdom and encouragement for leading well..

Kadi is a leadership consultant and author with a mission to empower leaders to unlock their potential and drive meaningful change. Kadi serves on the leadership team of WXP.

Each year, new leaders take on the XP role, seeking out resources and counsel to help them adjust to this unique ministry. In this PreConference track, Brandon Beard will provide an overview of the most critical tasks and details needed to be successful as a new XP.

Brandon serves as an Executive Pastor at Compass Christian Church in Colleyville, TX. Over decades of service, he has developed expertise in church growth, effective ministry structures, multi-site strategy,  generosity development, and creating leadership culture.
